Cappora Apparel Custom Embroidery & Personalized Merchandise Policy

Last Updated: August 19, 2026

Thank you for choosing Cappora Apparel for your custom embroidery and personalized merchandise. Because custom products are created specifically for each customer, the following terms apply to all custom, personalized, and made-to-order purchases.

By placing an order for custom or personalized merchandise with Cappora Apparel, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom merchandise includes, but is not limited to, products featuring:

  • Custom embroidery
  • Names, initials, dates, numbers, or monograms
  • Customer-selected wording or phrases
  • Customer-provided logos, artwork, or designs
  • Custom thread colors
  • Custom garment or hat combinations
  • Special embroidery placement
  • Business, school, team, organization, or event designs
  • Other merchandise produced specifically according to a customer's selections or instructions

Because these products are made specifically for you, production may begin shortly after your order is submitted.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all personalization information before submitting an order.

This includes confirming the correct:

  • Spelling
  • Names and initials
  • Dates and numbers
  • Capitalization
  • Thread colors
  • Garment or hat colors
  • Sizes
  • Design selections
  • Embroidery placement
  • Logos and artwork

Cappora Apparel is not responsible for errors contained in information, wording, artwork, or instructions supplied or approved by the customer.

If you discover an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes if production has not started; however, changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production.

Proofs & Design Approval

When a digital mockup or embroidery proof is provided, it is intended to show the approximate design, layout, placement, and color selection.

By approving a proof, the customer authorizes Cappora Apparel to proceed with production.

Once approval has been provided and production has begun, Cappora Apparel is not responsible for design elements that were visible in and approved through the proof.

Digital screens display colors differently, and embroidery thread, garment materials, lighting, and photography can affect the appearance of colors. Exact color matching between a digital mockup and the finished embroidered product cannot be guaranteed.

Embroidery Variations

Embroidery is produced on physical fabric and may naturally vary slightly from digital artwork or product photographs.

Minor variations may occur in:

  • Thread color
  • Stitch placement
  • Design positioning
  • Letter spacing
  • Design dimensions
  • Fabric tension
  • Garment construction
  • Embroidery density

Small variations that do not materially affect the overall appearance or intended design are considered normal characteristics of custom embroidery and are not considered defects.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Due to the personalized and made-to-order nature of custom embroidery merchandise, custom and personalized products are generally final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges for reasons such as incorrect size selection, change of mind, or customer-provided personalization errors.

Orders may only be canceled or modified before production begins. Once digitizing, embroidery, personalization, or other production work has started, cancellation may no longer be available.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection laws.

Defective or Incorrect Orders

We want you to receive the product you ordered.

If Cappora Apparel makes an error in personalization or you receive an item that is defective or materially different from your approved order, please contact us promptly after delivery and provide clear photographs showing the issue.

After reviewing the claim, Cappora Apparel may, as appropriate, offer a replacement, correction, refund, or other remedy consistent with applicable law.

Normal embroidery variations, differences caused by screen or monitor settings, customer-provided errors, normal wear, or damage resulting from improper washing, drying, use, or care are not considered manufacturing defects.

Sizing

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate garment or hat size before ordering.

Sizing may vary between manufacturers, garment styles, and product types. When available, customers should review the applicable sizing information before purchasing.

A personalized item's fit or a customer's selection of an incorrect size does not constitute a product defect.

Customer-Provided Logos, Artwork & Intellectual Property

When submitting a logo, image, phrase, trademark, artwork, or other material for customization, the customer represents that they own the material or have the necessary permission, license, or authorization to reproduce and use it for the requested merchandise.

The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permissions.

Cappora Apparel reserves the right to decline or cancel a customization request when there are concerns regarding intellectual-property rights, legality, or our ability to produce the requested design.

Acceptance of an order does not constitute a determination by Cappora Apparel that the customer has legal rights to the submitted material.

Digitizing & Setup Fees

Certain custom embroidery designs may require artwork preparation, embroidery digitizing, or other setup services.

Any disclosed digitizing, artwork, or setup fees compensate for work performed in preparing the design for production and may be non-refundable once that work has begun, except where otherwise required by law.

Payment of a digitizing or setup fee does not transfer ownership of Cappora Apparel's production files, embroidery files, digitized files, or other proprietary production materials unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Production & Shipping

Custom merchandise requires production time before shipment.

Any production or delivery estimates provided by Cappora Apparel are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Shipping carrier delays and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address when placing an order.

Care of Embroidered Merchandise

To help preserve embroidered merchandise, customers should follow the garment manufacturer's care instructions and any additional care instructions provided by Cappora Apparel.

Damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, excessive heat, misuse, or normal wear and tear is not considered a production defect.

Policy Acceptance

By purchasing custom or personalized merchandise from Cappora Apparel, you acknowledge that you have reviewed your customization selections and agree to this Custom Embroidery & Personalized Merchandise Policy.

Cappora Apparel reserves the right to update this policy from time to time. The policy applicable to an order will be the version in effect when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.
